The website i download kindle books from is down, need help

Okay so since i got my kindle last year i downloaded ebooks for free on a website since i cant afford to buy them😭 but now that site is officially down. So i cant download any books anymore so if i cant find a new SAFE website to download them from i will probably have to sell my kindle since i cant afford the books for it so please!!! Help me out😭🙏

Hi, sorry, this is not a solution, but I just wanted to ask, how were you side loading the books onto your kindle? Just got my kindle today, and I did not want to jailbreak. Hope you get a solution soon!

hi silverfish! if you download an ebook in pdf or epub file you have to have a amazon account and go to Amazon send to kindle on the website and then add your files and boom your ebook is on your kindle :)

If so then Libby is a great app to use.

i do but im not from the US so my library has like 1 shelf with english books and the books are not good lol.

i recommend oceanofpdf, it’s a very good site, has most books in multiple languages and i haven’t had any safety-related issues with it so far

No way, did oceanofpdf actually get shut down? That's literally where I get 60% of my books😭

heyy, yeah I did that to a fanfic today, the only book in the kindle right now. But I was worried this might be illegal, I wasnt sure. But if everyone is doing, then I'm gonna join in too lol!

@Killua, also, I get my epubs from VK (looks like Facebook, but for Russia), I have been for a long time now. Idk how safe it is, which is why I didn't mention it first, but I haven't run into any issues as of yet. Basically, I go to my browser, usually use one with a built in VPN like opera, type in the name of the book I want and type in 'epub vk' next to it. It brings up the pages from VK that has the files and I usually download it. I've even gotten audio books from there.
