So far the only (hardcover) cover I'm seeing with a cartoon librarian surrounded by books is The Librarian of Basra: A True Story from Iraq which is a 32 page children's book.

I just saw this which is hardcover, although published in 2003 it appears.

So can we rule out Read Bottom Up which is a new release romance at B&N and has a cartoon cover but I can't tell if a librarian is involved.
