Romance

While romance is nice and all, please make sure it does not slow down character development. The world of One PIece is so massive that focusing on romance too much would slow down the plot tremendously. That being said, romance is still allowed and in some cases, it may help the plot. Also, One Piece is an anime that focuses largely on relations, most significantly those within a crew. Please focus on that aspect as well as any pairs you wish to create.
