If I read a romance, it’s a romance - not a friends to lovers or guess what you’re the father.

Will have to go investigate tropes and see if any of my current reads fit!

Hm. I won’t know the trope of my current book until I get more into it.

Week 4 Prompt: Pick a Trope, Any Trope
Task: Choose a book with a trope you either love, hate, or can’t stop reading. Enemies to lovers. Found family. Secret royalty. You know the type.Your partner has to guess how you feel about it
Book read: Vampires and Villains (Magical Mystery Book Club, #2) by Elizabeth Pantley Vampires and Villains by Elizabeth Pantley
Date completed: 30/09/25
Page count: 219
Reflection: I looked up cosy mystery tropes and this book fits a few of them - Detective is accompanied by a loyal, clue-solving animal, everyone hated the murder victim and magical realism.
The plot is a bookclub that picks a group book (cosy mystery) they open the first page - read the first line and they all get transported into the book and become the story. Once they solve the murder they return to the real world. This time the setting is a Hawaiian cruise, a man has been murdered in the casino and the suspect is the vampire friend of the group. If it wasn’t him who was it?
