Susan | 119 comments I’m actually reading a fantasy book at the moment.

message 52: by Bubbles (new)

Bubbles | 197 comments Sounds good!

We are trying to fill prompts with short books for money reasons so we will go with which one has lower pages and save the other one for later. We are saving are big books for salary books and we only get to log those salary books once so have to take our top 10 page count when we pass a salary spot. :)

Shan ~A~ | 1399 comments Not sure where we are, but I finished a short MPG Fantasy Book that I'm about to Post to the SS.

message 54: by Bubbles (new)

Bubbles | 197 comments Thanks Shan!

Bubbles | 197 comments We just did our second roll and landed on a square where 2 teammates have to read a book by the same author. Funnily enough, Christene just finished a book by Samantha Downing and I read one of her works earlier this week so I am going to use those 2 books for this roll. We keep missing property for some reason lol

message 56: by Bubbles (new)

Bubbles | 197 comments Great job Shan!! That is a lot of books logged today :)

You are all doing a great job!

message 57: by Yasmine (new)

Yasmine (swissbookworm) | 66 comments Hi guys! This weekend sadly I couldn't get any reading done, since I had an infected eye and could barely see, it's all better now, but now is a working week again so I'll only get slowly progress in in my reading

I'm glad you are feeling better! No worries at all. This is all just for fun and every book counts :)

message 59: by Bubbles (new)

Bubbles | 197 comments Alright, we finally hit a property! We are going to buy Narrative Network.

Our task is to read a book where a small action or decision ripples outward.

Does anyone have one they can finish before 9/11 or has anyone already logged a book that this prompt would work for?

message 60: by Shan ~A~ (new)

Shan ~A~ | 1399 comments The shortest one I have that possibly fits is Dream Girl Drama.

Chloe tells a reporter that she is Sig are about to be stepsiblings and that has a "butterfly effect" that causes them both problems. It's 320 pgs.

I can try to find a shorter one after the book I'm currently reading if no one else has read one.

message 61: by Shan ~A~ (new)

Shan ~A~ | 1399 comments I also need to add the last book I posted to the SS to my GRs shelf.

O no you are good! We have some pretty big books already so we are going to be good :) Everyone seems to read around the same range

I posted Keep Me - in summary, the FMC sneaks into a mansion to take a picture of an old family heirloom of her boyfriend's family. The ripple effects: she ends up in a fake marriage, the MMC ends up moving countries, her mother ends up reconciling with her, among other things.

message 64: by Bubbles (new)

Bubbles | 197 comments That's great, Jody! Thank you for letting me know. We will use Keep Me since you already finished it. It is also close page wise with Shan A.'s book, so we aren't using a bigger book for points

christene_littlelibrary (cpaulanavarro) | 602 comments It’s our turn now

message 66: by Bubbles (new)

Bubbles | 197 comments We rolled and landed on New Release Look. I will be using Susan's Deep Cuts because it is our shorter book for those published this year :)

message 67: by Bubbles (new)

Bubbles | 197 comments Okay, our new roll is read a book with lights on the cover! Has anyone read a book that hasn't been used that has lights on the cover or is reading one now that qualifies? We have to be finished with it by Saturday early evening

message 68: by Susan (new)

Susan | 119 comments I’m currently reading The September House, there’s a light on in the house. Would that count?

What's the verdict? I should have it read by tomorrow evening if we're using it.

message 71: by Shan ~A~ (new)

Shan ~A~ | 1399 comments If that doesn't work I have The Millionaire Boys Club Koda by Natisha Raynor which is 298 pgs

or Miracle on Ladies' Mile by Joanna Shupe which is 118 pgs.

Both or done just need to be posted to SS.

message 72: by Bubbles (new)

Bubbles | 197 comments Sounds good! We are waiting for confirmation but we will be able to log one today. Great job everyone :)

I apologize for not checking on this sooner. I did not see any feedback from Ashley, so I'm making an executive decision as her helper and allowing the book to work for that task!

Just checking to see if you were still on track to finish by tomorrow. I have to turn in our info by 8 pm EST so just making sure I know where we are :)

message 76: by Shan ~A~ (new)

Shan ~A~ | 1399 comments Bubbles, I posted Miracle on Ladies Mile to the SS if you end up needing it for light on cover.

message 77: by Susan (new)

Susan | 119 comments I’ve been traveling and have a concert to attend tonight. I’m glad Shan A finished a light on cover book. I have 20% of my book left. I’m still reading but getting it done in time is looking tricky! So sorry! I’ll do better next time!

Bubbles | 197 comments Hello everyone!

I am going to start doing weekly updates to keep everyone up to date since I have not been doing the best at updates.

Our Progress:
1) We currently have the highest net worth by $300
2) We have passed a salary space, so our highest 10 books by pages were logged so we get $546 (3rd highest)
3) We own 3 properties (Narrative Network, The Great Gatsby, and San Francisco (Tied for 3rd with another group on properties owned)
4) We should be up to roll again in another day or so
5) You are all doing such a great job! Keep logging and happy reading!!

Yasmine (swissbookworm) | 66 comments Thanks for the update Bubbles! Sorry for being passive in this game since my first book, yesterday was my best friend's wedding and I was maid of honor, so it was a busy couple of weeks with the finishing touches to get the event to its best state :D Now that's over and I should finally have somy time to myself again and reading :D

Bubbles | 197 comments Okay guys, we just landed on community chest. Our prompt is Genre Exploration so has anyone read a book that is logged that is from a genre they don't normally read. The higher the page count the better because we get money for this one :)

The Enchanted Greenhouse was a book I read that is out of my normal genre. It was only 375 pages though.

Keep up the great work everyone!!

message 99: by Bubbles (new)

Bubbles | 197 comments Hi guys! We landed on chance and the prompt is to read a book where appearance plays a significant role in the plot. Anyone read a book like that already?

message 100: by Shan ~A~ (new)

Shan ~A~ | 1399 comments I finished How the White Trash Zombie Got Her Groove Back where it's important for Angel to not look like a zombie. I can post it later today if no one has anything shorter.
