Is the mortal instruments series spicy?

Im a YA reader i read books like, Caraval, OUABH and The cruel prince. Now i wanted to start The mortal instruments series but i keep seeing online that it has alot of S🥚 content and mentioned. Now im contemplating about reading it😔 please let me know because im just searching for a good YA fantasy series that has fade to black or no spice😭

Nothing graphic, and while they may talk about that- it’s not terribly explicit.
I’d say it’s about the same as the cruel prince.
