Does anyone ever want to do their take on a story then feel bad because you feel like you’re copying the whole book and then be so proud of your writing but never share it with anyone so they don’t accuse you of copying??
I struggle with sticking to one tense when I’m writing like I swap from present to past. Any one have any advice?
I have the same problem cause I am thinking about the future and then I get carried away and that is why I have never written a full book, or even gotten past the first scene for that matter. But my advice is that you really got to think about how you want the book to go and also try not to rush it so that you have enough character building without it being slow.
I would write the whole thing out then figure out what tense you want it in once you’re done then go through and edit the whole thing
