I wanted to share a novel that really left me thinking My Name Is Saul by Lin Wilder. It imagines the Apostle Paul’s final night in the Mamertine prison, offering a deep and reflective view of his past life as Saul, his flaws, his zeal, and the transformation that came through grace.

What I appreciated most was how the story doesn't try to polish Paul into perfection. Instead, it captures the inner tension between judgment and mercy, law and redemption.

If you enjoy biblical fiction that invites reflection and personal insight, this one is worth adding to your list.

Would love to hear if you've read anything similar that stirred you in the same way.
