I read more than 50% of the book. Not really liking it much. Have a few issues with the book. wbu?
Hey Tania, where are you? I completed the book. Didn't like it at all, to be honest. Wbu? We'll discuss the book here.
Sorry sorry!Am late.I had tests,was studying
Anyway
Am fifty percent through.quite liking it actually
I think the girl Judith has some backbone
Ill need a couple hours tops to complete it.kay?
I don't know. Story didn't work for me. Firstly, there is no concept of actual love in the book. The guy and girl just want each other and then suddenly they get married. Woah. (Tho it is explained later why they got married suddenly). Also, the ending where father and daughter reunite was unconvincing. Somehow, it didn't work for me. I didn't even like the writing duh. Iain was a terrible hero (minus the sex appeal and the ooh-aah). The only thing I liked was Judith and that too because she tries to question and oppose the irrational practices of the clan. That's about the only thing I did like.
hmmm.now that I have finished the book,I can say that I agree to some extent with you.the only thing they are doing is either having sex or singing praise bout each other

Exactly. And I especially disliked the book because their feeling seemed very fake.

In a spirited clash of wills and customs, Judith revelled in the melting bliss of Iain's searching kisses, his passionate caresses. Perplexed by her sprightly defiance, bemused by her tender nature, Iain felt his soul growing into the light and warmth of her love. Surely nothing would wrench her from the affection and trust of Iain and his clan...not even the truth about her father, a devastating secret that could shatter the boldest alliance, and the most glorious of loves.
