message 1: by Haley (new)

Haley Valenta (hlvalenta) | 15 comments Poetry books are vastly underrepresented in the bookstagram community, so I'm making a post for people to leave all of their recs and show the genre some love. Take a look and maybe even read some, if you feel so inclined. I'll leave some of my favorites down below.

*my only ask is no Rupi Kaur or Amanda Lovelace, as everybody already knows about them*

My Recs
CRUSH
All my faces
Stone Tongued
Flowers that Doubt the Existence of the Sun
Melancholic Muse
Idiot Verse
Our Numbered Days
The Future
Depression & Other Magic Tricks

My Books, if you felt like it
When No One Was Listening
(It has a new, better cover now)
Wallflowers
Kleptomania

Brooke (brbibliophile13) | 10 comments mary oliver is a favorite poet of mine. she’s very focused on nature and the interconnectedness of all things in her poems. she’s certainly the more healed version of the good witch (aka there it goes). she has lots of poetry books, but to name a few: devotions, dog songs, upstream, and a thousand mornings.
