The MC lives on a fictional property at in western QLD (my state) before she relocated to Warwick a 30/40 minute drive south of Toowoomba QLD where I live in reality. The MC has a holiday on the Isle of Skye (so have I) she has 3 grown up children (same as me) and when she looks in the mirror she sees her hazel eyes (tick) and silver threads through her brunette hair (tick tick) - also the author is a friend of mine and lived just across the road from me until a few weeks ago when she moved to Warwick.
