i just fell in love with the characters, the drama, the tension… ugh, everything!!
it’s the kind of book that keeps you up at 2am whispering “just one more chapter” 😭✨
i’d totally recommend it if you love protective boys (Alex🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥)
slow-burn love and a little emotional chaos 💌

I also recommend the rest of the twisted series of books.

I've had them in my tbr for soooo long and still haven't bought them. I've watched the show and the movie. But I always feel like no amount of show or movie can do a book justice. So I truly need to read them! You make me want to read even more!!

YEESSS!!! Finally found my people !! The twisted series are just so good! I am in love with twisted games, but twisted love made me fall in love with Ana Huang. And since then I have almost all of her books!

Honestly, I have quite a few that I always recommend.

1. Sad romance - "Bright Side" - this one shattered me in the best and worst ways. It is just so real and I've never read any more heartbreaking story than this one.

2. Romance - "Say You Swear" - it’s the kind of book that pulls you into the characters' world completely. It’s a mix of love, heartbreak, and healing, and honestly, it made me cry and smile in the same chapter. It’s that emotional rollercoaster you never want to get off and the MMC is my soulmatee.

3. And of course, the "Shatter Me" series (iconic). I love how it starts all broken and evolves into pure power. Juliette’s journey is messy, intense, and empowering. One of the best series I've read.

Each of these books has a different kind of magic.

It's a good series but before you start the series read the internal devices by Cassandra Clare first so you don't get confused later the show follows better than the movie to me

I think I often recommend Chimeras of Estmer. Though it has an odd cover, underneath it has everything I need in a fantasy book: a complex world, an interesting plot, an unusual magic system, humor, and romance. The characters aren't annoying either.
But it's difficult to describe this book as sad. On the contrary, it's funny. Perhaps The Silver Metal Lover would be a good choice for you. It's a sci-fi romance that I often recommend because it's very well written and I like the main protagonist.
