Hello,Thank you for your request. Based on Goodreads policies for managing multiple editions, the following editions of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight have been successfully combined as they represent the same original literary work, despite variations in format, translator, or presentation:
- Translation differences do not prevent combination unless substantial changes or new content alter the nature of the work.
- The presence of translators or editors such as Marie Borroff or Brian Stone Jr does not make the editions separate works; they remain part of the same primary text in different editions.
- The author has been assigned as "Unknown" in accordance with Goodreads guidelines when the original author is not known.
