Before this book, my knowledge of tuberculosis was Doc Holliday. After reading John Green's book about the history, treatment, and social perception of tuberculosis, I learned that Everything is Tuberculosis.

Tuberculosis is weaved in the history of civilization, literature, invention and more. Green goes on to reveal how tuberculosis is still alive and a huge part in certain areas of the world. The kicker, tuberculosis is preventable and, in most cases, curable but some places do not have access to the resources needed.

This is an informative, interesting, and heartbreaking book. It covers tuberculosis from an academic, fun fact, and relatable, heartfelt anecdotes.
