The Hobbit 4/5 stars.
The only problem I had was character writing, but I decided to give Tolkien some grace because this book was written in the 1930s.
By that I mean the species each character was defined their morality, like 'all goblins are evil', that kind of thing. Just kind of boring. And a lot of the time the dwarves blended together, but I get about 350 pages isn't a lot of time to characterise so many dwarves.
Also no women characters, and like one named one mentioned in passing. That kinda sucked.
I get that it's a kids book, but still.

1st: „Rozdroże Kruków” by Andrzej Sapkowski, a great addition to the series, but as a standalone novel I gave it 3.5 stars

2nd: „Nothing to See Herę” by Kevin Wilson, kind of cute, warm, sad and weird at the same time, stable 4 stars
