[Week 01] What’s your all-time favorite book — and why?

’m going with Watership Down as my all-time favorite — it totally transported me when I first read it, and it still holds up every time I go back. During book club someone mentioned Atlas Shrugged, and I have to admit… that one and The Fountainhead are also up there for me. I know they’re polarizing, but they stuck with me in a big way.
Outside of book club picks, I usually gravitate toward nonfiction. I’ve always loved biographies — I remember reading the ones on Steve Jobs and Elon Musk years ago and feeling so inspired that I actually bought stock in both Apple and Tesla. Needless to say… good call!
One I really enjoyed more recently was The Gatekeepers — it gave such an interesting behind-the-scenes look at presidential chiefs of staff and how much power they really wield. Definitely recommend if you’re into political nonfiction!

I totally agree with you on Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead. I wish Atlas Shrugged hadn't become a political talking point because I did not see it that way. It's just an amazing story and a well-written book.
