I think that would be Gerald Durrell 's books. Especially My Family and Other Animals and The Garden of the Gods
The books contain vivid descriptions of various animals and humorous observations about the author's relatives.
He lived in many countries, which is enviable, but the stories of his childhood on Corfu Island were the best. I still believe it's a dream place to be.

I loved the Hush Hush series novel wise. I also remember being obsessed with The English Roses (Madonna).. I still love the art style and I'm positive because one of the characters has the same name as me I was like ok I love this lol
