♡ Taylor ♡ | 10 comments What’s a book you hyper-fixated on as a kid- like the one that stands out most from everything you read back then?? Maybe it even got you into reading. I’ll go first!!

In fourth grade, my reading teacher would read a chapter book aloud every day before the bell rang. She always ended on a cliffhanger to keep us excited for the next day. It kind of drove us crazy because we never wanted it to stop! Props to her- she was an awesome teacher for that!

One of the books she read was The Ghost’s Grave by Peg Kehret, and I was OBSESSED. I read it so many times as a kid- no clue why, but it had me in a chokehold.

Your turn 🫶🏼

Diana Jaques | 100 comments The Folk of the Faraway tree by Enid Blyton.
This book brought a whole new magic to my childhood. As a child I spent a lot of time in woodlands and surrounded by nature in general, so reading this book gave a sense of magic and mystery to the world around me.
I loved it that much I recall dressing up as the character Moon Face for a World Book Day when I was younger.
Such a lovely book that I will always remember.
