Different ASINs

So there is an issue with my cover and I would like to update it, however, for whatever reason the ASINs between the goodreads page and the amazon page are different, so the last person I spoke with said they couldn't be changed until that was addressed. What should I do?

That record is for the e-book with ISBN and would not be found on Amazon. You need to use the Kindle record to jump to Amazon. The Kindle cover seems to match what is currently on Amazon.

Okay, I see that now, and I also see that the paperback version is accurate. However, the ebook version is incorrect and that is the version that gets pulled up most often on both the app and the website. So is there a way to change that or merge it with the Kindle version?

You can edit the Kindle edition and set it as default.
