Ohhhhhkayyyy... but when you actually type out the symbols it DOES show up as an emoji (I think). One time, I'm a weird person, don't judge me, I was determined to type out a girl's symbol and when I sent it, it did come out as two emojis... sooo, maybe I'm just remembering wrong, but still.

It happened to me when I tried writing my name in other fonts

The emojis are transmitted into their lines code (1s and 0s plus letters and symbols) so we see their coding instead of the emoji.
