Please change it to the amazon description :

Tiberius was having a perfectly normal day. Right up until a god yanked him out of his cozy, Wi-Fi-enabled life and dropped him into a world where magic is real, gods are petty, and betrayal is basically the national pastime. Now, instead of worrying about his morning coffee, he’s got to figure out how to survive in a land where everyone seems to have a knife hidden behind their back (and sometimes in their front, just for variety).

Meet Alira, who’s equal parts charming and terrifying. Sure, she may have her own hidden agenda, but nobody’s perfect. Then there’s the pair of bounty hunters who decide he might be perfect as target practice. And let’s not forget the necromancer everyone hates. Because apparently raising the dead is “frowned upon” here. Who knew?

But Tiberius isn’t just any ordinary guy from Earth. Armed with a sharp sense of humor, an unshakable optimism, and a knack for turning science into seriously overpowered spells, he’s determined to make this crazy world work for him. Sure, he’s got gods plotting his demise, mortals plotting his betrayal, and a general sense that everyone wants him dead, but hey—at least the magic is cool, right?

As Tiberius navigates this chaotic new reality, he’ll have to decide who to trust, how far he’s willing to go to survive, and whether his optimism can outlast the gods’ schemes. Because in a world where even the divine can’t be trusted, one thing’s for certain: if Tiberius doesn’t figure out how to outsmart, outmagic, and out-laugh everyone trying to kill him, he’s going to be the shortest-lived hero this world has ever seen.
