Adding to series question - New books

I know how to add a book to a series and how to create a series but I've an issue several times. How do I add a new book that IS on Goodreads but doesn't have an ISBN or ASIN due to being self published. Trying to add by title shows no results, can't add by ASIN or ISBN and so how can I get the book to add onto the series?

Newly added books take time to appear in search. You just have to wait a while.

Plus, your search for the book to add must be EXTRA specific if you don't have an ISBN or ASIN.

Because the Goodreads series search truncates results by at least half and as much as 90%. At least, it used to. If so, add the author name to help narrow in on the results. See this thread for more info: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Thanks for that. I actually tried adding the author but still no results. I'll wait and try again in a few days or so.
