Checking the policy: Publisher as Editor or something else?

I was pointed in the direction of a book record with no author or editor listed on the cover. The individual contributors are listed only in the table of contents inside the book. This book is a Books on Demand project, initiated by a group that is also not listed on the cover. What should I put in the author field? There are several editions of the book imported from Amazon under different profiles.

The contributing authors are the authors.

Duh. I was kind of hoping there was a quick and dirty way of getting them under the same profile without having to trigger the desire to add all the contributors to both editions. Cheers.

There is also "Various". I can't recall what they use in Europe, maybe A.A.? I had never seen it before I started doing this.

We don't use various if any authors are known.
