When someone breaks the group rules badly enough that they merit being kicked out, here’s how that can be done.
Before deleting the post/comment, click the name of the person. Take a screenshot or write down various items from their profile, such as icon, number of books read, etc.
Next, from the group home page, near top right, click Members. Sorting members by most recently active doesn’t work very well - that seems to sort by the last login time and login by app can stay logged in for months. Search for the name, then scroll looking for the icon. Sometimes it takes several pages of scrolling. Double check that the number of posts to the group looks right. If in doubt, click to see this person’s profile to check number of books or their list of posts to verify that the troublesome one is there.
When you are confident this is the culprit, click Remove from Group.
Going by memory there’s an option to remove all posts and comments made by this person too. Typically when I do that it’s because the person joined the group recently and posted self promotion posts in multiple folders. If you don’t use that option, find the troublesome post/comment and delete it.
