Changing my own Book Cover

I would like to update the cover of my book cover as I have a new design. It's very confusing to see how and who to contact for this change. Can someone please help me do it? If I'm the author why can't I do this myself?

Because then authors would be removing old covers for new covers all the time.

Authors do not have the ability to change covers, this is a decision taken by staff so only they could tell you why.
If the displayed cover has not been used for anything, including ARCs, librarians may be able to change it if you provide a link to a correct and acceptable source with the cover.

No. The book is publishing the 9/9/2025. It’s not even up for preorder yet.

That's what I am doing.
Many authors distribute ARCs so we have to ask if it has been released in any form with that cover.
I have removed it so now you can upload a new file.
