Attn. Jaclyn - No Amazon bot-imports from Amazon India?

Hi Jaclyn,

I get the impression that the catalogue from Amazon India is not being auto-imported by the bots.

Today I found an Add-new-book request from a debuting author, requesting to add the Kindle edition to the GR database:

Normally I would reply that librarians can no longer add Kindle editions and that his book was either already auto-imported or was about to be imported. But -at least for India- it does not seem to work...

I don't know if other Amazon country subsidiaries are also excluded from the auto-importation, but could you check, please?

Yes, I've noticed a lot of people needing to request Indian Kindles.

Hello! We currently only import books from the Amazon.com Marketplace; however, this catalog does contain most global ASINs. This will improve in the future.

The book in the thread linked above was added by the import here:

(The member made a typo in the ASIN)
