Nike Chillemi wasted no time in pulling me into PI Veronica's twisted situation with her cheating husband. Who knew her situation would spiral down at warp speed from that revelation. The story is timely and well woven with the seediest of criminals and intrigue. I'll be watching for the opportunity to join in on the next mystery calling for this sassy and savvy heroine's expertise.
