A Book That You Want To Read

Is there a book that you badly want to read, but haven't?

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer. My boss—who's owned the used bookstore for 23ish years now—loved the book and said that he wishes he could read it again for the first time. We got on the topic of this particular novel as I was fussing about how so many mysteries follow a detective on a murder case. Neither of us are particularly enthralled by the mystery genre, so the fact that he wishes he could experience the book for the first time AGAIN, says a lot to me.

I have a copy! Just waiting for my mood to decide it's time to read it.

I wouldn't say I'm dying to read it but the Crescent City series by Sarah J Maas. I've read her other two series and I really like them. I've also heard that they're all connected so I'd like to see how this one is connected to the other two. There's nothing stopping me from reading it but like you I just haven't been in the right mood to read it yet. This might be bad but I choose books to read based off vibes and what I'm feeling in the moment. I'm pretty sure I might read it before the end of this year though.

Naw, outside of classes and bookclubs, I've chosen my books off vibes and moods my entire life. I reckon if I'm not feeling a particular book at a particular time in my life, I won't get as much out of it as if I were to read it while my mind was more receptive to it.
