Hi Sidonia,WorldCat is the preferred source for page counts for printed books and they have this one (ISBN 9780063398344) listed with 480 pages. I've also found other sources that have 480.
It's also very helpful to include the ISBN or ASIN when requesting to add (or edit) page counts, even when linking to the book.
Do you have the book in hand? Is there nothing after page 457? Some things we can count and others we cannot.
Included end material may include acknowledgments, afterwords, appendices, bibliographies, glossaries, indexes, notes, and suggested discussion questions.
We don’t count the pages used for advertisements, preview chapters for other books or introductory material paged using roman numerals.

Ok thanks for that clarification info Greg. That's good to know. I do own the physical book in hand. The (ISBN 9780063398344) does match & I can confirm there are 456 numbered pages of the actual story, but upon manually counting the additional 24 pages of Acclamation, Other books by the author, Title Page, Publisher/Copyright notes, Dedication, Thanks to, Table of Contents, Map of Oz, Quote Page, 2nd Title Page, & a few blank pages spread among these before the story starts, plus the About The Author & 3 pages of advertisements at the end it does indeed equal 480. So I guess... it's physically accurate but, It still bothers me that when I update my progress saying I'm on page 180/480 for example, it's not accurate because its including 24 pages of "non-story". This is the first time I've seen an book on Goodreads that didn't match the numbered pages of story content only. I'd be happy to email photo/video evidence of my physical copy showing the ISBN # and the pages. Thanks for reviewing my request and dealing with my OCD, haha. :)
You can actually post the photo evidence on your Goodreads profile page. From the web view, click on your profile picture in the top right, then click on profile. Then over on the left a couple of lines down there's "more photos." That's where you can temporarily add them.It won't hurt to check but it sounds like 457 may be correct, especially if all the other stuff comes at the very beginning.

Done - thanks for the pictures. So in this case it would be 457 pages because we would count "About the Author."To help volunteer librarians, please add [Done] or similar to the title of this thread. This is only possible in the desktop view.
