i know this probably isn't the kind of comment you were looking for, but you are wonderful as yourself and you don't need to lose weight for anything or anyone. if anyone ever judges you based on your weight they are not worth your time and you should leave them and never look back. love u

use calorie deficit method it's all about calories in vs calories out to lose weight. Calculators online can help you using your height and weight to calculate how many calories you need per day to lose weight. I did this and lost 1 stone over 12 weeks but I was still enjoying life and having dinners out/ cocktails I wasn't totally strict.
Get your steps in and hydration too. walking and water will be your bestie.
