Babel, its long but is so important, especially for people living in the states rn
Animal farm. Sooo relevant and will always be relevant as long as society is too.
Agreed about Babel! Such an important, culturally and historically relevant read! My picks would be The Raven Boys because it has the most beautiful and enticing friendship group ever (also the nature imagery!); Stephen King's Misery because of the craft of it (how can someone write what is essentially a long monologue and keep the reader sooo engaged?)
Edgar Allan Poe will always be a recommendation as well - whether his prose or poetry, everyone should experience him.
But if you don't like poetry, there is something similar popping up, that the author actually sent me, and I think that it might be one of those poetry books for people who don't even like poetry.

More like a series... HUNGER GAMES!! Its soo good, not just the first three but you need to read Sunrise on the Reaping but u gotta read the other books first.
