Danita L (ladygoshawke) | 727 comments The current description of this book is of a copy or copies that are for sale and has been designated as the default description. Believe it or not, the same description is used on Amazon, good grief.

I own a copy and have typed the below description from the inside front flap since all the versions on Goodreads have the same incorrect description.

"It is rare to find a working naturalist who is also a highly professional photographer. Russ Kinne's famous nature photographs are derived from his deep interest in the study of all aspects of nature, as well as from the detailed knowledge of cameras, lenses, and film that places him in the front rank of photographic specialists. In this volume, the author has set down in simple, nontechnical language his methods, his preferences in equipment, and all the technical know-how that either the beginner or the advanced worker will need for making outstanding nature photographs." . . . . . "The Complete Book of Nature Photography" is designed to be a readable reference work in this rich and rewarding area. Some of the topics discussed are plant and flower photography; bird photography; reptile and amphibian photography; underwater and marine photography; and many more."

I only copied two of the four paragraphs for length's sake.

There are also four different listings of the same book so I've included those links below so they can be combined.

Main Listing - 7 editions

Second Listing - 2 editions (Author needs correction also)
https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio...

Third Listing - 1 edition
https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio...

Fourth Listing - 1 edition

Thanks!

Danita L (ladygoshawke) | 727 comments I was going to send a photo of the description but didn't see how to add it.

(Sorry, I forgot to click the "This topic is about" with the title of the book, but the first link will give that info. Apologies.)
