Edit the book and upload the cover.You'll need to ask support to enter the ISBN, since you didn't include one when creating the book record.

thanks so much. I thought I had read that to add a cover (I put the book up before it had a cover) that the librarians had to do it? I appreciate your help.
If there is no cover image in place, the author can add one.

I think I was able to add the cover, but I can't do the ISBN
If there is an ASIN on a book record, you cannot add an ISBN.Create a new edition instead.
In future, don't create a new book record without one.
I see. thank you! Where did the ASIN number come from? I see it there but I didn't add it. Is that sufficient or do I need ISBN?
Goodreads adds an ASIN for every book record. That's why it causes problems if you don't add one to begin with.
Okay. I understand it is in an Amazon number? which is strange because not up on Amazon yet. So would you recommend I do a new addition so that I can add an ISBN? I appreciate your patience.

If an ASIN is on a book record, an ISBN cannot be added.GR adds an ASIN to every book record. It is a made-up number that has no known purpose.
When adding a book that has an ISBN, fill in both ISBN fields, and put the 10-digit ISBN in the ASIN field.
Hi Goodreads Librarians,I'm the author of Jessica Harmon Has Stepped Away and I need help merging a new edition I created as per Scott's suggestion above.
The original edition (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...) was created without an ISBN and only had an ASIN. I’ve now published a new edition with the correct ISBN: (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2....)
Could you please merge the new edition with the ISBN ([(https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...]) into the main book page, so that all ratings and reviews remain consolidated?

The merge will require a superlibrarian, so you should ask in that folder.
