So I js told my crush of 4 years that I like him and he basically said “okay, and?” I’m not okay. The other day (before I told him) my friend asked him if he liked me and he said maybe so then she asked him if me liking him would change anything and he said maybe, so I don’t know if he’s js tryna play it off now that he knows?? But i still really like him and he’s all I can imagine for myself. Do you think it’s wrong for me to keep liking him even tho I don’t think he feels the same?

a lot of guys can't make up their minds. or they think that liking someone is so bad. like the answer "maybe" is not a definite answer. you can keep liking him but if a guy truly doesn't do anything or put in the effort to talk to you they do not care. but maybe you can ask him again because maybe is not a affirmative answer

I think it is absolutely okay for you to keep liking him. As long as you do so with the understanding that he may never return those feelings. At that point, you have to have a conversation with yourself asking the following questions: 1. Am I waiting for this person to change their mind and choose me? 2. Will the lack of reciprocity affect me or my mental health? 3. Can I live my life without this person in it?

Regardless, I suggest you seek how to move forward from these feelings without closure. Unrequited feelings are hard but not uncommon in life. You're not alone! Nothing is permanent no matter how much it feels like that

The same thing happened to me and I'm still hung up on him. Best you can do is try to forget him and see what HE does about it, not you.
