The [Merge] tool is down at the moment; however, I will action this as soon as it's back up and running.

There has been no action on the record in question at this time.

When I noticed the combine doesn't work I assumed that Goodreads is affect by yesterday's the big technical issues at Amazon.

But in these kind of situations it would be helpful if there was some communication of the staff towards the librarians. Either by a message in this group or some banner on the combine pages. (And not by locking the combine page as there is so much more librarian work that can be done from the combine page, like checking for notes.)

I have tried multiple times to combine different editions of the same book in these last two days, but I have been unsuccessful so far.

Two full days of no combining, predates the amazon issue.

Just wanted to mention that combine is still mostly not working for me. I get lucky here and there, and some days seem better than others, but the rest of the time, forget about it. I have to leave so many editions uncombined.

It's still super hit-or-miss for me, too. It's better if I've made a change to an edition before trying to combine, but often all I want to do is the combination itself.

It seems to be getting progressively worse over the past few days. This morning, combining editions just goes straight to a 404 page. Adding an author to a book record just fails (returns the same edition page without the added author). It's as glitchy as I have ever seen it without it being offline!
