Long-time member here who hasn't been around for too many moons due to life and an inability to write anything I was happy with. That's finally changed, thank goodness, and I'm now in need of a beta reader or two. I need someone to read the book as they would any book and give me their overall impression. Namely:
Does the overall plot work? Were there any parts that you felt dragged? Were there any parts or aspects of the story that were confusing? Were the characters likebale? How was the flow and the dialogue?
Synopsis: Sal Mannigen is supposed to use his Elemental powers against the minions of the Banished, but the outlaw McCaran had other plans for him. After barely managing to escape the outlaw's clutches, Sal teams up with a fellow Elementalist and the Shaman of a future-seeing owl spirit to hunt down the McCaran Gang and put an end to their mysterious machinations.
Word count is 132,930 Genre: Fantasy, western, action/adventure.
Contains magic, action, adventure, friendship, monsters, a bank robbery, a train robbery, and a curmudgeonly dragon prospector.
Some violence and scary scenes. If I were to give it a rating, it would probably be PG-13.
