Hilda Roy | 14 comments Hi I am looking for a critique partner to read my COMEDY MURDER MYSTERY novel, complete at 104 K.

Margo, is not thinking about her Californicating husband. She’s in her bubble: her beautiful, esoteric work as a patent attorney*. So she’s definitely not thinking about whether he's behind her being carjacked. Even when the body of a beautiful shock artist turns up and she think's he's involved. And to make sure it stays this way, she’s going to hoover up any evidence before the police solve the case and she has to face the truth.

*this isn't a patent mystery, that's just a vehicle for Margo's quirkiness.

Nada | 69 comments Hi Hilda!

Your beta swap request sounds just up my street. My book too has comedy elements, and a body or two. I’m a former reporter, now London novelist, looking for a swap for my 50k buddy recovery caper.

The Promises is a lit-fic buddy caper about recovery and post traumatic growth. Not as grim as it sounds!

Cacharel, a Paris editor turned Tarot healer, leads the AA Sunday women’s Promises meeting in Bali. That Sunday, English expat and sidekick Bullit shares her fears about her Ukrainian ex Ruslana, a 6 foot fighter blonde who last left Bullit in a burning house in Kharkiv. Ruslana is coming to visit. Cacharel, protective of Bullit, decides to meet the ex. What could go wrong?

My novel Motherborn was published in the UK by Lendal Press in 2021.

Let me know if you’d like to swap!

Nada

Tim Karney | 4 comments Hi Hilda,
Don't know if you're still looking for a critique partner. I'm planning to publish my debut mystery novel this fall. It's set in the Hunt Country of Northern Virginia. The protagonist is a wise-cracking humor columnist who joins with a mysterious British Viscount and a beautiful equestrienne to solve the murder of a young competitive rider.

Let me know if you would like to swap and good luck with your book
