Oh, I didn't think it would be acceptable since you have to join the site to buy the books.
Goodreads rules are so confusing, aren't they?
Yeah, it is quite frustrating. The new protocol for covers terrifies me. I changed two covers for a series I own and removing the ones that were there felt so wrong. I created new editions for those covers and left messages in the logs, but I was still nervous. One of the books had a cover that I didn't even recognize. It should have been changed back in 2018.
As to Smashwords, I have seen Kindles that have Smashwords as the publisher. Books that are published by SW are also available at B&N. I put a book in my cart and it acted like any other sales site. There seem to be very few that allow one to purchase as a "guest". Having to have an account makes sense.
I just did the same thing at HarperCollins, and it is asking for me to sign in as well.
OMG the book is so cute. There is a series called "Pete the Cat". Pete the Cat Screams for Ice Cream!
My girls are in their 30s, so I never heard of it. They look fun.
Please check if ASIN: B001C8GX9G was deleted.A book from 1902 wouldn't have an ISBN so Amazon gave it an ASIN.
It is for this request: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...#I haven't had this happen before. The book shows in search bar if you enter the ISBN but when you click the book it shows an error page.

It opens fine with me.
Closed it
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...#I found the book on Amazon and posted the link, if someone wants to add and close this one.
Note: OP listed the author's name incorrectly. I posted the correct name.
