I have lived my whole life in the northern part of the U.S., where people are thrilled to see summer arrive after the long cold months - but not me! I don't like hot weather, and it feels worse when everyone around me is remarking on how beautiful the day is.
This is a two book task, choose two different options and read one book for each option.
Required: state the options
Option 1 - No Sweat
I hate to sweat, so read a book whose title (Subtitles may be ignored) does not contain any of the letters SWEAT.
Option 2 - Hot Weather Clothes
A friend once told me that any summer day that is cool enough to put on long pants feels like a defeat. To me, it feels like relief. If any part of my body besides hands and face needs to be uncovered, it is too hot for me.
Read a book with a person wearing shorts or a swimsuit on the cover.
Required: Post the cover.
Option 3 - Mosquitos!
In northern climates, these are claimed as the "state bird" by multiple states. I react to them more than most people, as they often swell up and itch for days. Also mosquitos love me. I can be in a group and be the only one bothered. I recently read that these insects do favor type O blood, which I have.
The blood types are A, B, AB, and O. Read a book whose author has first and last initials made up of these letters. That is, the author initials are AA, AB, AO, BA, BB, BO, OA, OB, or OO.
If multiple authors are used all authors must meet the requirements.
Option 4 - Off Season
I don't regularly read books to match the season. To me, it is refreshing to read a tropical book in winter or a Christmas book in summer. Some merchants and book groups schedule Christmas in July events.
Read a book from the first 25 pages of one of these lists.
