Maya Bestler leaves the hospital surreptitiously, leaving her baby behind. Where did you believe she was headed and why? When, if ever, did you begin to suspect her story might not be true?

I had no idea why Maya left the hospital and thought she had gone to her ex. When the hermit and his attorney had no objection to a DNA test. He must have known he wasn't the father. That called into question a lot of what Maya said.

I agree with Anita. I didn't understand why Maya left the hospital and her baby, but I was sure she was returning to Garrett. After they found the Hermit, I didn't believe Maya's story. He was too willing to give his DNA.

Yeah, when Maya left, I knew her story had holes, combined with the hermit’s odd reaction and willingness to give up his DNA. I had no idea where she’d gone but knew she somehow was connected with the Sanctuary.
