The young woman at the Sanctuary that Josie tried to help, Renee Kelly, is found dead in the woods. They had suspected she was being abused by someone at that place. What were your theories at the time?

[Anita]

There was someone at Sanctuary that everyone else was keeping quiet about. Valerie Yates has a black walnut necklace in her throat and so did Renee, tying them together. Emilia is missing. I was suspecting in the back of my mind that it was Jack. But he hadn't been seen at Sanctuary.

[Sharon]

I thought there was abuse at the Sanctuary, and everyone was involved in some way, even if it was hiding what they knew. The necklace was a clue that the abuse was a ritual.

[Anita]

The necklace was part of Jack's ritual. His way of marking a woman before killing them.

[Jonetta]

I could not understand why Renee wouldn’t reach out to Josie when she had the opportunity. That’s when that place started feeling cultish to me.
