One of the issues with older translations I mentioned in the pre-read chat is that there was some messing about with the organization of the book, hence different chapter divisions and numbers. William Butcher’s Oxford World’s Classics version I mention there claims to be faithful to the standard French edition. I don’t plan to check on that.
Gem, the original French version which I read also has 45 chapters, with 314 pages in the mass market paperback.

Thanks, Rosemarie!
I am trying to get my hands on a physical copy, my library doesn't have any, only ebooks.

I finished The Valley of Decision so just started this today, and wanted to confirm that we are on the same 3 week schedule. before I enter the weekly discussion threads.EDIT: Never mind, Gem. I decided to open the first week discussion thread and just avoid the posts and saw that it read Chapters 1-15 at the top so it is the original schedule.
I will catch up shortly

Reading Schedule
I don't yet have a physical copy of this selection. There is a discrepancy regarding the number of chapters from the editions I have been able to find online. Therefore, I may need to edit the schedule, adding a fourth week, but I won't know until I get a copy of the book from the library.
Week 1: (June 22 - 28) Chapters 1–15
Week 2: (June 29 - July 05) Chapters 16–30
Week 3: (July 06 - 12) Chapters 31–45
