[COMPLETE] Invalid Edition: Sorrowland

There’s a weird edition of the book Sorrowland by Rivers Solomon that needs to be merged or… something else, I guess.

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5... – The publication date and page count are both incorrect, there’s no publisher listed, and I can find no evidence on any Amazon site that this ASIN exists.

However, if you check the librarian edit logs for this edition, it appears to have at one point been a separate book by a completely different author. I don’t know why this was changed.

Whatever this book is, I am extremely sure that it is not a valid edition of Sorrowland.

While I agree it is a bogus edition, I can't think of anything proper to do with it. The ASIN is imported, so I can't just merge it.

Is there any way to revert the metadata changes to figure out who this book was originally written by? The author was originally someone named Heather Crocker.

That author does not exist anymore. My suspicion is that this was a fraud book where they change the author to some generic name and try to lure unsuspicious buyers. However, there is no way to verify that now. Maybe support would be willing to just remove it by hunch. They don't need to worry as much as we do.

One more issue: there's a duplicate of the US Audible edition.
