Once again, please forgive my ignorance. New to requesting updates on Goodreads. I appreciate your extremely politely worded guidance.

I have posted my series update requests in the professionally named "Serieses!" folder.

For your information (FYI, as it were), I was attempting to follow the onscreen instructions for changing titles precisely. In the yellow pop-up instructions above the title field, there is quite clearly a comma between series name and series number. Like this: (series name, #series number).

I see that you have removed the commas. Based on the official instructions on the Goodreads website, it was not possible for me to know that the comma is extraneous. I will endeavor to remember that going forward.

Commas are optional. What I removed was the "a progression fantasy epic" which does not belong there. I have also changed any "book #" to just "#."

Duly noted. I was simply trying to match the exact title and subtitle on Amazon, the way it displays on Amazon. The Goodreads website makes it abundantly clear that everything on Goodreads must be precise and "just so," right down to the periods between my initials that don't actually belong there because that is not my correct author name. I was merely trying to be compliant.

You didn't elaborate on these requirements and changes in your original reply, and therefore came across as breathtakingly rude. Please point out where on the page to edit book details that it makes in any way clear that the title should never contain the subtitle.

I am more than happy to comply with all of Goodreads standards when it's clear what they actually are. Right now this entire process feels like a trial and error adventure, and you seem to be going out of your way to be as unhelpful as possible while putting in the bare minimum effort. It is my hope that customer service will review this interaction and decide whether or not your assistance measures up to the aforementioned Goodreads standards.
