I have a Master's Degree in Literature and have taught English and writing at the college and high school level for the last 5-6 years. I'd be more than happy to offer that knowledge to anyone trying to make it being a published or self-published author.
I read with a critical eye, but not so critical that your hopes and dreams will be reduced to quivering pulp (I promise!).
I'm open to reading any genre, whether it be fiction or non-fiction, romance or science fiction (though I have a slight preference for fantasy and science fiction). The only genres I will not touch with a 6 ft. pole is erotica or fanfiction.
Here are my rates:
$4 per 1000 words for a grammar and syntax edit and list of suggestions.
$6 per 1000 words for a in-depth examination of all elements of your work, including but not limited too: plot, character development, description, dialogue, style, thematic elements etc. + grammar and syntax revisions.
