any tips for people new to netgalley?

I'm super new to netgalley so I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to get approved for arcs when they are starting out <3

I know it’s tempting: but DO NOT request every single book you want to read!
The typical acceptance requirement is a feedback ratio of 80/90 %. Publishers are unlikely to accept if it seems like you won’t give feedback!

Put time into writing reviews for the books! A short review may not be the best way to gain recognition from the publishers, and could result in a lack of approvals for requested books! Instead take your time to draft a review, and make notes as you read if you feel like that will help with remembering the book.
remember to be HONEST with the review, if the book was crap, the publisher doesn’t want you to be dishonest, instead, compile its negative qualities AND positive attributes, and how they affect the books.
