Everything Is Tuberculosis: The History and Persistence of Our Deadliest Infection by John Green, 4.5 stars

A fiction book I quite like this year about the treatment of tb and which does address the discrepancy of treatment between classes is The Air We Breathe.
It may also work for a prompt as it was written from the first person plural perspective.
John Green manages to be just depressing enough to make clear the inequities in health care and how much better it could be while still providing a few rays of hope and happiness.
The ONLY reason this isn't 5 stars is the misuse of the term "atom" twice to describe a whole microorganism which is definitely a lot more than 1 atom. Perhaps I too have OCD traits when it comes to chemistry terms. The book did cause a stir as strange reading material whilst waiting for surgery and collection afterwards, but few other books could have held my attention long enough to distract me.
