Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 3759 comments And starting this one for my next audio!

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 3759 comments Ohhh, I'm having a lot of fun with this.

I grabbed the audios for this series last year because they're narrated by Joe Jameson, who is one of my top 5 narrators.

You guys doing audio or print/digital?

Angie ☯ | 3456 comments Mod
I have audio and ebook.

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 3759 comments I was getting really annoyed with (view spoiler)

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 3759 comments I'm a little over half way. I find the juxtaposition between Western and Egyptian influences bizarre, but effective. Makes a change from all the Roman-influenced fantasy and sci-fi I've come across recently.

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 3759 comments Also, squirrelcats are fun 😆

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 3759 comments And done!

I had a lot of fun with this, and am looking forward to seeing where the story goes in the rest of the series.

Will wait until others have started reading before chming in with more.

Starting this one now...

Jenny | 2149 comments I started this one last night, as well as three others. Needless to say, I didn't get very far into any of them, but this one seems the most fun.
I think I will settle down and read this one tonight.

Okay, I like Ferius (view spoiler) LOL

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 3759 comments Ferius is fun.

There are actually rather a lot of good quotes in this book!

I do not like Kellen's family, but I do like the squirrelcats.

This story was a lot of fun, and I am looking forward to book 2. However, I have a few more books left to read for this month. So, off I go...

Judith (brownie72011) | 915 comments Finally got into this one. It’s as fun as I expected. I wish I had the audio but went with ebook because it was cheaper and was out of audible credits.

His family kinda sucks though. Ferius is great

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 3759 comments I read book 2 yesterday. Also fun!

And I seriously want a squirrelcat. In fact, I think everyone should have one. It'd stop people taking themselves too seriously after being insulted by them all day long 😆

Angie ☯ | 3456 comments Mod
Love the comments! I agree with all of them.

This was a fun read and I can see the rest of the series in my future!

Angie ☯ | 3456 comments Mod
Yep, Kellen's sister was annoying and I didn't catch that she was 13. That put it into a different category for me; she was still annoying but I understand WHY I found her that way! Hahaha!

Angie ☯ | 3456 comments Mod
Ferius is great. I'd like to know her backstory....over a drink or two at a local pub!

Great quote, Donna!
