Ohhh, I'm having a lot of fun with this.

I grabbed the audios for this series last year because they're narrated by Joe Jameson, who is one of my top 5 narrators.

I'm a little over half way. I find the juxtaposition between Western and Egyptian influences bizarre, but effective. Makes a change from all the Roman-influenced fantasy and sci-fi I've come across recently.

Finally got into this one. It’s as fun as I expected. I wish I had the audio but went with ebook because it was cheaper and was out of audible credits.

His family kinda sucks though. Ferius is great

And I seriously want a squirrelcat. In fact, I think everyone should have one. It'd stop people taking themselves too seriously after being insulted by them all day long 😆

Yep, Kellen's sister was annoying and I didn't catch that she was 13. That put it into a different category for me; she was still annoying but I understand WHY I found her that way! Hahaha!
