It tells the story of a boy named Diyar, who escapes war in the Middle East and reflects on the destruction of his homeland, the loss of friendship, and the silence of the world around him.

The book explores themes of war, exile, political betrayal, and global indifference – and feels especially relevant now, in light of the continuing tragedy in Gaza.
