Deleting a version of a book

Hi, the author has told me there are two versions of the same book listed & that one needs to be deleted.

Can this one be deleted, please? (I'm getting a message that a super-librarian needs to do it.)

No, they are both valid editions.

The first link you provided is a valid Kindle edition, it has both a valid ASIN and ISBN. The second link is also valid; it's the hardcover edition and has a valid ISBN as well. Both are correct and should not be deleted.

I believe the edition you actually meant to flag is this one (which wasn’t linked in your message):

Please don’t mark such editions as invalid. Instead, link the correct edition and let a superlibrarian merge them. Note that when an edition has more than 5 shelvings, a super-librarian is required to merge it.

You are correct. I mistakenly marked the kindle version.

Can the last one (that I mistakenly marked invalid) be deleted then?

Fyi, I corrected the listing for the one that needs to be deleted from "invalid" back to "public". It may take a few more minutes for the change to load.

Change the folder topic to the Superlibrarian one.

So I’m not sure what you did but I have changed it from invalid back to public.

Making comments in the librarian note and the librarian comment field are not seen unless a librarian is looking at the edit page.
